I've spent more than twenty years coaching highly motivated, athletic people through the hardest physical challenges of their lives.

I hold a Master's degree in exercise science and have worked with runners, golfers, hikers, and CrossFitters who were told their only options were to rest, modify, or accept. But it hasn't always been this way…

When depression hit me, I turned to running to get myself back. It worked — until my knees and hips started screaming. I pushed through because that's what I'd always done. Then one afternoon, my foot folded underneath me and I was on crutches for a month.

Everything changed when I realized the joint that hurts is almost never the joint causing the problem. I went deep into corrective exercise and movement screening, and discovered that my body had been compensating for years in ways I'd never been trained to see.

I built a system that doesn't manage pain — it resolves the loading errors that create it. I got my runs back. I got my life back.
